Pink Hair Annie
Hello crafty bloggers,
Just finished this little pink ballerina Annie. She seemed to take forever to finish, but here she sits hugging her little cat, Azul. The pattern is from America Prim and designed by Megan Tucker. This is my first pink hair Annie, but I kinda like the pink. Any way, thought I would share with my fellow crafters. Plus I have negleted my blog for awhile, and thought I should write some to let all know I'm still out here crafty my little fingers away. Keep crafting and I will put some more up soon.

Raggedy Andy
Raggedy Andy is at last finished. Looks like he has a little doggie friend. This is a great pattern from Threadbare Primitives. I did some alterations for the clothing, and added the little doggie from Janet's Creations. It seemed to take forever to finish Andy. Spring is in the air and my allergies are kicking my hiney. Hard to get any sewing done when your eyes keep running water. Oh well, I still love spring with all the flowers starting to bloom. Wednesday, March 2, 2011
Where does the time go?
Finally, this little raggady and friend are done. It seemed like I never had enough time to work on her. We have added a new animal to the farm and are now raising rabbits to sell as pets or meat. They are too cute. Seems like the day is over before I can get any crafting done. So off I go. Talk with you bloggers later.

New Raggedy

Finally got this little raggedy done. It seemed to take forever due to a cold that attached itself to me for a week. She has a little cat or mouse (haven't decided yet which) that sits with her. Hopefully I will get that done this week-end. When I get her little friend done, she is going right over to Etsy in hopes of finding a new home.

More goes on here in Flordia than playing with cute dogs and crafting. This is part of the garden my husband started before he was deployed to Miami for two months. He planted indian corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The weather has been so dry here, the plants didn't do very well. The sunflowers are pretty tho.

Been a little busy lately and have not been able to add anything to my blog. Got the day off, so thought it was time to update a little.
Here are three bears finally finished. They are going off to a craft show in hopes of finding a new home. Bear making is relativly easy, the fur helps hide a lot. Will have more to come. Brown bears next time.

Little pumpkin patch
These are my little pumpkins I made a few years ago. They were so easy to make. The stem is made from a real tree limb. The limb was found on the ground so that no trees were injured in the making of these pumpkins.

Crafting
I have never tried needle felting, so thought I would give it a try. This is my first project, a little pumpkin. There seems to be endless amount of things one can create with needle felting, so stay tuned to see what else I can learn to create. And yes, those needles are very sharp.

My Dogs
This is a picture of my newest Border Collie Molly. Molly as a puppy, Feb. 2010
Molly August, 2010.
This is our Buster. He is also a Border Collie. We got Buster when he was a puppy, and he is now
8 years old, that's 56 years old to you and me. However, he keeps on herding like he was the energizer bunny.
Best friends,
Shakespeare and Daisy.
This is Shakespeare. He is my daughters dog. They both live here on the farm. All the animals on the farm have a job, and his is to catch flies inside the house. It is a natural talent, and he is very good at it. He is a good dog and a pretty boy too.
This is Daisy. She is the baby of the house. And why not, just look at that cute little face. At one point in time, Dachshunds were bred as badger hunters. Daisy must be doing a good job at hunting badgers, because I have not seen one badger around here at all.
As of now, that is all the dogs that live here on the farm.
Hi my name is Diane and this blog is about country living. I live on a small farm in north Florida. I have four dogs, one inside cat, ten goats, plenty of chickens, two bee hives, and some cows. When I'm not taking care of animals, I enjoy making crafts of all kinds.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you will enjoy.
